Dear Patti,
I would just like
to say how much I enjoyed reading your book - I have struggled for many
years to fully embrace Life Long Learning, even though on an
intellectual level I know it is the right way. The story of your
journey has moved me along a great distance. Thank you for the time and
effort you put in to write it.
Best wishes,

Patti, I love the quotes within the book. They provide a nice segue way to your writing, as well as your examples involving your own children (the experiences at the museum, their own interests, going to museum exhibits, asking questions) and as well as that of your peers...what they are thinking and doing. I like the fact that you respect children, you don't seem them as "children" but as "little people" in which they can learn from you, and you can learn from them. You stress the importance of their "self," and how learning builds up their character and self worth, and how traditional schooling kind of neglects that. I also like the fact that you mentioned that you have worked in private and public school sector because it shows that you have experienced and participated in the "traditional" learning sphere, and so you are able to legitimately compare the traditional vs. Life Long Learning. The tone of the book is very consistent., very enthusiastic, and heart warming. The reader can sense that you are writing this book because you feel deeply about the message, and that is what makes a good book.
Your
book also shows children how to be respectful and
responsible human beings. I like concept of "GEE" and how it
can show children the value of money, how its a tool, and
its something that the family can talk about openly. It's
not something to be spent extravagantly, but its not
something meant to be horded either.
